Frederick Law Olmsted: Classic Art Reproduction (Medium)
Frederick Law Olmstead was hired by George Vanderbilt to landscape the extensive grounds of the Biltmore Estate. In 1895, Vanderbilt invited renowned artist Sargent into his new home and commissioned a portrait of the beloved landscape architect. This unique image reflects the legendary talent of the 19th-century painter, and is currently on display at the historical house where the painting was completed. Our authentic stretched canvas replica captures the original painting's texture, depth of color, and even its bold brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. Our multi-tiered, gilded, solid wood frame enhances the piece and draws in the eye. Medium: 33½"Wx44½"H. Large: 15½"Wx19½"H.
